Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
I just placed a order for the new Australian built Sharpwrax JK Super Spoiler which tilts back to remove the soft top, plan is to bolt my Yakima Mega warrior basket to it and place all my heavy gear up on the roof now which will free up a lot of room in the JK for other stuff, ill kit it out with a side awning left and rear and a set of LED's for the back and LED light bar front, I may mount a shovel and axe on the right had side. Eventually Ill put a RTT on it
This is what im getting

You can see this rack and his other racks here

I haven't seen the install instructions yet but I think you have to cut a small bit of the plastic out of the side window that slips up in the channel, no real issue as there will still be plenty to hold the window in, for me it's a nice solid rack that doesn't mount to the rear bumpers and has been tested to the Australian ASE standards and will hold 300kg stationary which makes it a solid rack.
Mark has the Shrockworks rear bumper, and the basket is an option for the swing out tire carrier. I have it as well, but you'd obviously have to have the Shrockworks bumper to run it.
My brother and his wife in his Liberty and my wife and 90 year old mother and I in our JKU went on a four day, three night Jeep trip in the Caribou National Forest in Southern Idaho and the Logan District NF in Northern Utah. The attached photos are of the Providence Canyon Trail and Millville Canyon Trails near Logan Utah. We explored a bunch of new trails along the way (for us anyway) and a few old favorites. I know I should have taken more photos.
We stayed in Motels each night and the total trip was around 500mi. It was our first trip of this kind, but my brother and I have taken our granddaughters (ages from 3 to 8) Jeep camping next to a small lake for the last 2 years. I'll post some photos from last year's granddaughter trip in a separate post. The first 7 in this post are in Providence Canyon and the last 8 are in on the Millville Canyon Trail where we had to do a little trail clearing. (I'm going to have to post more photos separately)
