Teaser shots from just completed trip. I rode as photographer/videographer, so didn't drive my rig. Blanca Peak, Como Lake, Tin Cup, Great Sand Dunes, Cumberland Pass, Engineer Pass, Mineral Creek, Hancock Pass, Dry Cimarron Scenic Byway, Johnson Mesa, Capulin Volcano, St Elmo, and more. Awesome trip.

Five days and Page 4? BUMP

I was planning a nice expedition trip for Colorado this summer, and would have had plenty of good pics as input to this thread; however getting ready to sell my house and moving are taking priority for now :(

But in the meantime here is a shot of the rig and what I have done to get her ready for my future travels.

And a shot of the new sleeping quarters for those future travels:

I've been a longtime voyeur of this thread as I slowly built up my rig. Don't let it die now.

I have an electric Craftsman chanin saw that I use. It runs on the 19.2v system. I couldn't build a log cabin with it but I can quickly trim a fallen tree to get down a trail.

Sounds like a cordless/ rechargeable battery type. Not a bad idea and no gas to spill in the Jeep.
