Torque Pro for monitoring vehicle performance.

Backcountry Navigator Pro for topo mapping, wilderness route planning, guidance and recording.

Here's a video of my install. The sound quality gets pretty poor partway through, but the beginning explains the actual install. If you visit the YouTube page, there are links to a list of parts I used.

So how did you get the GPS coords and inclinometer to display in Torque pro?

Both are options. They work off of the internal Nexus 7 sensors, not the CAN bus. To be honest, the inclinometer, while perhaps cool looking, is actually the angle of the Nexus 7, not the Jeep. Since the Nexus 7 is turned at an angle to face me when driving, it's accuracy is off a bit. On top of that, it's based on the accelerometers. So, when accelerating/decelerating the Jeep, that also affects its indications.

The pro version is only $10 - I think I'd rather just pay the developers for this great program than pirate it. It's not like it's $100...

Yeah, it really is a bargain. The actual free version is also very capable. Someone who doesn't want to spend $10 should just get it. Avoid any risk of malware ending up on your device.

I've been running the free version for a few weeks - pretty cool and no ill effects so far. I think the free version is a limited-time full-featured demo, though. Mine expires next week, but I'll be buying the pro version today - definitely worth it!

Love how the Jeep looks huge in the small European parking spot :-)

Speaking of the Backcountry Navigator Pro, which maps do you guy like/use the most?
Personally I toggle between the paid subscription Accuterra and the good ole' USGSs Topo.
The Accuterra is nice for figuring out if you are on BLM land, State, NP, NM or private land, but not all 4WD trails show up.
