Did you install yourself?

Yes, installed myself. Pretty easy. A friend modded the bracket for the MBRP roof rack to make it work with the snorkel.

Grenadeacorp I have an AEV w/ prefilter which helps reduce dust into the filter, but the cost of the snorkel is more than filters will ever cost you.

I know you don't go doors off or softtop, but I had to get a different set of mirrors for doors-off driving because of my snorkel. Anything that mounts to those 4 bolts on the A-pillar windshield bracket might have interference issues. You will probably not have issues with the A-pillar mount you have but the AEV prefilter may be too big where your roof rack is.

Since installing my snorkel and prefilter I have been getting 0.2mpg better on my average mpg per tank. I do not know if it is the snorkel or something else. I don't know why the snorkel would give me better mpg so I'm skeptical that could be the reason.

If I were to mount Rigid Dually D2s to the A pillar does the AEV snorkel interfere with that as well?

Here are some pictures of how we modded my AEV Snorkel/MBRP Rack Extension install so both would work. Perhaps this will give some ideas of what will/won't work and how you could make it fit ...

In some conditions, the air filter may get plugged too fast. It also doesn't filter fine particles such as sand dust under a certain size.

If the only purpose of the snorkel is higher air intake for water fording, then a pre-filter is not needed.
However, when I entered a large puddle on a road, at 40mph, the splash covered my hood, windshield and the front of the hardtop. It took the wipers some time to clear the windshield, as water kept pouring from the top.
A regular snorkels' front-facing air intake would have gulped water. Not a problem with a pre-filter, on which the intake is facing down.

If the purpose of the snorkel is preventing debris (sand dust, etc') from reaching the engines' air filter and the engine itself, then a pre-filter is the answer.
The most effective pre-filter I know of, is the Donaldson 3" TopSpin Pre-Cleaner --The pre-filter, by itself, isn't enough. The snorkel tube should better have a sort of (drainable) 'sink', which collects particles that went through.

I'm not sure, if you post a pic or brand of the one you're thinking I could see. Usually it is things that stick out the side of the vehicle mounted to the A-pillar that can cause a problem. If the A-pillar mount and light sit on top of the bonnet and in front of the windshield w/o going over the side then you should be fine. I'm traveling right now, but when I get home I can try to take a photo so you can see the space you have w/ the newer 4" AEV snorkel.

Thanks I'd appreciate it! With looking at a couple of other AEV snorkels I'm thinking I'll be okay since if I remember correctly the brackets mount on the two bolts in front of the windshield.

That is pretty close. Not a deal breaker I think I can still make it work with my rack.

Does anyone have an ARB snorkel?
