Someone else theorized that elsewhere. If so, that would rock!
It's a handsome school bus yellow.

If the yellow is the the dozer yellow like in the paint samples earlier posted ,to me it looks to be cross between John Deere and cat heavy equipment yellow I'm sold. like the rock truck in this pick to bad these tires won't fit the jeep?

Don't mean to jack the thread (mod's relocate if you feel it's best)..

I totally agree on the wasted options and like you, I want the tinted soft-top (my 2008 soft-top is in my garage and I don't think it will fit the 2012).

I am curious what options exist in the after-market for effectively tinting the soft-top clear panels. Can't imagine a regular tint film would have any longevity..

Best Top sells replacement tinted windows. Think it's a couple hundred for the set.

I'm heading up to my local dealership this evening to order my 2012 Rubicon. I called and confirmed with the manager that I will get -2% on invoice with my tread lightly membership. What I wanted to know is if there is another public organization similar to tread lightly that would offer a larger discount? I've seen abbreviations like "EP" and "PE" but are those "employee pricing" or similar?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think there are others. Those are employee plans as you stated. If you belong to USAA you may be able to get a better deal, but you won't know what deals USAA has in place until the time you are ready to take delivery of the vehicle.

It is great. I'd bet we won't see those types of deals on '12s right away.

You can also get good deals with Sam's club. It is very similar to the USAA system, and also guaranteed. I think for Jeep it was either $200 or $500 under invoice..It was brand/model dependent.

I'm a USAA member (I'm actually on page 6 of the current USAA magazine issue....) and last time I checked Sams deal was a little better than USAA, but I love USAA.
Anyhow I ended up buying used.

also there are good no-hassle deals on http://www. fitzmall. com/ but you have to pay attention to the location...

I just ordered a 2012 Natural Green Rubi. My Dealer accepted Tread Lightly but wouldn't go less than the 1%. I kept negotiating and got 25% off accessories and free labor to swap my bumpers.
