This might be a dumb question but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in this thread. What tool is used to hone out the original pinion bearings in order for set-up?

A dermal works or a die grinder

I did my rear install 2 weeks ago, and today I drained the diff for the 500 mile break in. just wanted some opinion's on my pattern before I do my front gears.

here is the patter when I set it up:

Any thoughts? will they survive?

This thread (and one of it's offshoots on a failure) have been
truly remarkable. I think when the time comes I will tackle
the install myself. Not only that but, even though he's not
in my area, I'll be looking to buy from Dave at Northridge4x4.

3.21 to 4.10 on a 2012 JKUS
and lockers, but I'm not yet sure which
