Do you have any type of lift in yours? I wonder what causes this?

Also, does anyone know what size bolts the control arms are? When I was last under my Jeep I think I remember them looking pretty big.

Did you measure the distance between axles on each side to see if they are off?

Also, did you talk to anyone at Teraflex to see what they have to say about this?

I didn't measure anything yet, but I have an appointment with a local mom and pop garage on Friday. We're going to measure things up and loosen/re-torque the control arms. The owner of the garage is old school and he seems to know a lot about solid front axle setups (I don’t).

I spoke with Joe @ Teraflex, he suggested I loosen the control arms, bounce the Jeep up and down, and re-torque the arms. Could a binding control arm cause this issue? I'm certainly going to give it a shot and I'm trying to stay optimistic.

Theoretically, what would I need to buy if the front axle is shift and is no longer parallel with the rear axle? I didn’t really notice, but I’m wondering what my front left coil spring looked like before I began the installation if the spacers.

Both axles will have shifted because you've increased the height of your Jeep. However, with only a leveling kit that increase in height shouldn't have caused a noticeable amount of axle shift.

Either way, the way to fix axle shift is to install an adjustable track bar. That will allow you to re-center your axle. However, I doubt that would be the problem in this situation.

This is a long shot, but when I changed my oil a few weeks ago, I noticed indentations in the lower control arms where the bends/elbows are located. I thought this appeared odd, but I blew it off as part of the design. These indentations are deep enough to put my thumb in and didn't seem perfectly symetrical on the left vs. the right. Again, this is a long shot, but when my Jeep was delivered from Chysler to my Jeep dealer, I wonder if the chains used to secure the Jeep in transit could have bent my LCA's causing this issue?

I mentioned this to Teraflex and Joe sent me some photos of some LCA's, but none of them were good shots of the elbow area looking straight at the bend (most of Joe's photos were from above). Would anyone be willing to post or email me some photos of what OEM control arms look like? Side shots would really help. Again, this is probably not the cause, but at this point, I'm looking at all options.

Also, I just measured some points under the Jeep and everything seemed symetrical left to right. I measured the end to end of the left and right axle tubes, these were within 1/8". I also measured the upper frame coil buckets on the left and right, both were within 1/16" of each other.

I'll get you some more pics thursday.

I to had this issue, though not as bad. I swapped stock springs with 17/18's off a rubi and the leveling kit, and my driver side spring is about .5" from the sway bar link as opposed to at least 1.5" on the passenger side.

I'll be interested in seeing how this plays out.

I loosened the front CA's, bouced the front bumper up and down, and re-torque the front control arms tonight. My left end link is now about .5" from the coil spring and the right end link is about 1.5 from the right side. There's still some bow in the coil spring, but it doesn't seem quite as bad as in the photos I posted earlier.

Due to the fact that my Jeep is so new (1887 miles, 3 months old), and I'm not 100% comfortable just living with this issue, I'm going to see if I can exchange this leveling kit for the new coil spring leveling kit. I'll post updates as things progess.
