That snorkel looks great! Is that the Chinese version or the AEV? I'm struggling with the idea of paying $379 for 20 bucks worth of plastic and brackets.

It is not proprietary to AEV....I bought the exact one ( Sy-Klone ) for my knock off snorkel . Works great in dusty enviroments like MOAB!!!

That's what I meant...Sy-Klone. AEV doesn't make their own. Did you get it directly from Sy-Klone? How much? Nice looking Jeep, btw. How do you like your snorkel? I just ordered one about 5 minutes ago off Ebay. Also, did you get your prefilter with the 3" diameter, or was it 4" with an adapter to fit the 3" snorkel?

It's aev but I had the el cheapo once from eBay on my 2010 Sahara and it was great! Only reason I got the aev one is that I got it for $50 off a buddy trading in his rig

So the Sy-Klone and the AEV pre filter(is that the one where the wind swirls around collecting dirt).
They are 2 different things? Which is better for stopping dust? Thanks

I have the 3" opening...can't remember the name of the place I ordered it from but it was under 40 bucks. That pic was EJS last Easter and we are going back again. The Ebay snorkel works great, just take your time and silicone real good.
