Yeah, I like the ejecting type. I don't need to see it or collect it. My Dyson can do that. I like knowing it is going bye bye. Mostly, I'll run the scoop, but if I go to dusty place, or during the harvest season around here, I'll be running that pre-filter.

What engine do you have?? This size works good with my 3.8
Don't know if you'd need a larger with the 3.6

I'm not sure the 3.6 really needs 4". The opening to the air box is still the same, so it gets constricted at that point, anyway. I may be wrong, but it looks like the same size opening as the 3.8.

Thanks.... Did you add a screw or 2 to secure the top on? Or a pin? To prevent it from flying off? Also did you cut part of your snorkel off at top? Or just added the filter top? Sorry for all the questions

I didn't cut the snorkel. The pre-cleaner get's fixed to the snorkel with a hose clamp.
I had to cut the housing a bit to clear the windshield frame.

Never heard of that and never happened to me.
Maybe someone just forgot to tighten the clamp.
