Not much harm in running too high of an octane for a short time. Won't do any engine damage, might foul plugs with prolonged use and unburnt fuel will get at the catalytic converter. The real danger is running too low of an octane when you are tuned higher. Lean conditions can definitely hurt a motor and needs addressed as soon as possible.

I installed mine last night. It was super easy to install once I figured out I wasn't turn the key on far enough to turn it "On". What an idot!! (I will admint when it started lighting everything up and the bell started dinging, I got a creepy feeling the airbag was going to pop out and hit me in the face or something.)

I just did the quick tune for 87 Octane. I have a 25 mile one way commute on the interstate to work and I made the whole trip with only downshifting out of OD one time!! I usually just turn off OD for the whole trip.

I could not be happier. My only complaint is that I didn't get a sticker!!

Well after 2 weeks of reading I ordered from Northridge last week. It arrived promptly and last night I downloaded from superchips website and then programed in the 87 quick tune, then set my tire size and went for a test drive and some on ramp bursts and all I can say is WOW

Would like to say THANKS to JPOP for starting this and for everyone who has keept it alive.

Reloaded my tune after my dealership visit today. I notice that every. single. time. I use it, I complain about how slow the thing is. I know it's not really a "on the go" thing, but man, it's a sluggish little bugger.

x2 the thing is awesome just driving around mixed I get a lil over 18 now
(on 35" KM2s). I know I could get better because with this thing I can't help but stomp on it every once in a while just to realize its a worthwhile investment.
