Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions
(approaches the mic with tears in my eyes...)
I would like to thank SuperChips for finally coming out with this feature. I never thought this would happen but finally I have stopped seeing the light!
(Kanye West jumps on stage and snatches the mic)
TACKINDY I'LL LET YOU FINISH IN A MOMENT. I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT HYPERTECH IS THE BEST PROGRAMMER HANDS DOWN. I'M JUST SAYIN.

kanye needs to go away
Thanks for responding. I just can't seem to get it to work. Too bad they don't include step by step directions for using it.
I hooked up to my jeep couple hours ago, then selected 3 items. At least I think did. Each one had arrows to the right after I selected them.
Just plugged in to my computer and ran the easy setup program. Same thing...asks me if I want to select the data acq program. I select it....the program makes like it's scanning and loading something, but when it is finished, it is still asking me if I want to add it.
This time I noticed that when I run the program, but before I sign in, there is an option to select the data acquisition tool. Aha! I thought. Unfortunately it just tells me I have nothing for it to download....error or empty device.
Guess I will have to call Superchips tomorrow. I was delusional in thinking I would get by unscathed by technical difficulties.

The launch feature on the log in screen is for downloading the info from the tuner to your pc but is not working at this time

Attached was a pdf that should have come with the unit in the first place. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks promising.
It's called DAQ2. but it won't attach here. I get a "file too large" error. Maybe it's on their website somewhere.

Here's the heart of it. The first part (not copied) just tells how to download the data acq program to your superchip, and it does not really look like what we are using now. The part following what I copied here, is just how to transfer your data to your computer. And as the reply I got indicated, that isn't functioning yet anyway.
Unfortunately, the pics of readouts would not transfer here.

I looked at the available data last night and didnt see a data field for Transmission Temp for automatic equipped vehicles. I was hoping to be able to read that temperature in particular. Disappointed.

Ok so I got my SC updated and went outside to install the 87tune. I installed the 87 tune and adjusted my tire size to 32" told me speedo calibrated. I have stock Rubi Tires. Is that the right size? Also I have an auto and I could not find where the shift points option was, anyone know? Also, I downloaded the TPMS pack both of them. Could not find that under the TPMS option when I was installing. Only let me set it down to 26PSI, I think that is stock anyways.
Any help would be appreciated, going to pull the doors off and take it for a spin.

Measure from the ground to the top of the tire. That will give you the tire height that you should enter on the Flashpaq. Some people are finding that's about a 1/4" tall when verifying speedometer with a GPS.

Going to try to install all the latest updates then load it in the Jeep in the morning before work.
