All of our tunes are safe for daily use. The only thing we recommend is using the tow tune for towing as it is the safest under load. Other than that have fun with any of them at your leisure.

Our advanced trans tuning offers you the ability to freely adjust your trans shift points and firmness to any setting that fits your driving style be it shifting in higher RPM's for more power, lower RPM's for offroad, etc....

Firmness increases will also improve transmission longevity by reducing the slip time in between gear changes making the shift more positive in the process.

This feature works through pedal percentages and MPH so you can basically control this feature from idle, part and WOT throttle positions so the experience can be different throughout.

It will depend on how you set the levels but if you are not careful you can cross the shift patters or increase the shift point into the stratosphere which could in theory keep the vehicle from shifting into OD within a certain MPH.

If you have the factory Tow Haul feature you can just use that to effectively turn off OD and get the same results without having to drastically change those points in our advanced trans tuning option.

Got on the highway and the Jk shifted into o/d.

I don't get it.

How does this work?

This is my setup. 2010 4 door. 315/70/17's with a 2.5 inch BB. AEM intake. 3.73 gears.

I am only looking for fuel mileage increase and maybe a lil bit more power.

What is the best set up to run. Fuel really doesnt matter. I always put in 87.. but if putting in different fuel will get me better mileage I will. I just got my flash pack last night and played around with it last night, but I am not very computer savy. All I need is the best set up with those specs and what do punch into the super chip.

Thanks for the help. Its needed. Trust me.

Measure your tires first so you can enter it into the flashpaq. Use a level across the top of the tire and measure to the ground for the best measurement. Then set the tire height and try the 87 octane tune.

Make sure you are vinlocked to your vehicle before updating online to download the trans tuning option.

Once linked to the internet update select "Vehicle one" in the drop down menu at the top of the web page. From there you should see the advanced trans tuning option.

Most if not all CAI products out there for your vehicle will work with the tuning out of the box without tuning. I suggest a CAI that uses plastic tubing over metal to reduce heat soaking of the air charge keeping temps cooler as it enters the intake.

Hey super chips, post some instructions for the trans tuning....

I'm about to call my credit card company and dispute the charge for this useless add-on

I don't see how a company can sell something and offer no help with it...

My first suggestion for you with the OD issue is to start in the OD off option rather than the standard tune so OD will not even be present.

I am working with the engineer to get some data up for you to help guide you in this feature.

That info won't tune it for you though; you will still need to determine how you want this feature to work for you and your specific driving style.

More to come soon.
