Cant answer your first two questions but...

TPMS is tire presure monitoring system, it is the sensors that warn for low air pressure.

Default What are the negatives?

I have read many of the 200+ pages but not all so forgive me if I have missed the negative reviews. I have been scanning the for sale threads and it seems like a lot of people are selling their SC. From reading this thread people seem to love them and they are the real deal. Why are people selling these? Also do you recommend buying new or used? Lastly I have changed tire size but everything else is stock, will the SC still be worth the money? Thanks!

People sell them for alot of reasons.... Different mods, not compatible with other mods, they need cash etc...

Look, If you change tire size and don't recalibrate your computer your odometer will be incorrect. You will be showing less miles than you actual have on the Jeep. Speedo will be off also. Just that alone should be enough to warrant a purchase.

I bought mine used and its been fantastic, brought the engine to life

Bought mine used too. It's not like it wears out . Plug in , set, unplug and done. Superchips is great especially turning off the tpms sensor

Here is my .02...I had it and returned it. Does it make a difference? Yes. Does it make $339 worth of difference? No.

However, if I had larger tires that were zapping what many contend is an anemic power plant on the JK, then I would buy, because I think any gains would be worth it. I drove mine around for a week and was not impressed. No hate on the guys who have them and love them or the makers of it, I just did not see real value.

I also think all Jeeps, TJ's too, are slow rolling bricks that do not come to life until I hit the trails and hit 4LO..and for that, I can't complain.

They have a 30 days money back guarantee and Quadratec took mine back no problems...you do have to set it back to stock. Give it a shot, you may find it to be a great mod?!

I have been thinking about getting one. Main reason is my Jeep is automatic and I feel that the set change gear does not match my drive style, or driving conditions here. I feel it's constantly changing gear and struggling mostly when I am between the 30 and 40mph range.
How's the gear change timing using SC? s Is it easy or cumbersome?

I would buy it new . I got mine from superchips . It has a 30 day money back gar. This way if i dont like it ,it does not work or what ever , I get all of my money back and dont have to take a hit. With that being said ,It put more pep in my motor and I picked up 5mpg. I love it !
