Default Check Engine DTCs after tuning on 87 & 93????

I have had my chip for about 1 year and everything has been everything I expected the chip to be... AWESOME
Although it seems like the last 3 months or so i updated the chip and started having the check engine light turn on, won't shift into Overdrive, and the engine won't turn over for about 3-4 cranks.
Periodically it won't shift out of 3rd gear to go into OD. THe last DTC's I got with the check engine light was P0760- OD Solenoid Control Circuit & P0871 OD Pressure Switch Rationality.

Any idea why this would be happening??? These readings came up tonight as i was driving about 70mph down the highway and all the sudden shifted to 3rd gear with no OD

I programed back to stock on the side of the road and everything worked perfectly????

Also, for some reason during mid-programming the flashpaq with restart on it own while it is plugged in to the jeep, sometimes in mid programming. the dash light go crazy and it reads "HOT OIL" Have you seen this before.

Make sure that when the SuperChip is connect to the Jeep it was a good Connection in the Plug. It is in the Manual -

Yes others as well as I got a hot oil light while programming. I would do an update on your programmer and the web site and then I would try a reload on your jeep, if that does not fix it I would say your computer is on its way out. When chips or sofware (mostly hardware) starts to go south it starts to act funny as you describe. Don't get discouraged though, keep trying the update on the web site thing and then the reprogram thing and give it a little time in between the reprogram thing to see if the computer (hardware inside of it/chip) is starting to go bad. I have experience in computers and troubleshooting such stuff.

I just got a used superchip yesterday and did the 87 tune. I got the same crazy dash lights and hotoil lights during the file upload. All went back to normal after finishing the sequence and the tune took. I have no previous experience with superchips, so can't say how the tune upload was happening in the past, so this behavior was normal to me. I really like how the jeep drives after the tune. For me, the superchip is a keeper!

ya i looked at both the quick tune and the advanced tune. the only option is the 87 octane tune. i guess they must have done away with the 87 performance tune???

The 87 octane is the performance. So you you are seeing everything okay. Just set to 87 tune if you want that. It's just a marketing thing to call it the "91 performance"

Thanks for the feedback 4 sure! I was starting to think that the chip went bad b/c of the restart of the chip after the programming initiated. Could this be the case? That is when it would read "HOT OIL" and keep flashing until I shut off the key. I do plug it in to the PC and seems to update the desktop software and also the programmer each time. Is that what your referring to?

It's weird b/c when i updated the chip about 3 months ago is when i started having the issues. So i updated it again and still the same thing..

I did take it to jeep dealership and the codes were accurate.. they ended up replacing the tranny SOLENOID (under warranty thankfully).

I just had my gas tank replaced last week, after driving with the new tank for a few days, I got a loose gas cap warning light and a check engine light. I used my tuner to check, not clear, the engine code. I made an appointment at my local dealer, so I went ahead and returned my rig back to stock, when I was done and back at stock settings both the warning and check engine lights were gone and haven't come back on since.

I'm not sure what to do. Dealership said they can't do anything if the warning lights weren't on and I can't really tell them that they only went off because of my supertuner. Any help would be appreciated.
