You have to remenber that if U reside in place were the temperatures get very cold you should change the thermostat back to the 195* F during the winter.

Finally put mine back to stock after a full year of constant knocking. What a difference! Soooo smooth and quiet now! I don't feel a bit of power difference from 87 tune and stock - just throttle response like some have said.
Anyhow, just using it for my speedo now...

I have been running the 87 tune for a few weeks now. I have an 07 2-door with 3.21 gears, 285/70/17 (33s), and an MBRP cat-back. The jeep runs nicer now and is more enjoyable to drive. I have hand-calculated 19.8 mpg on a tank of gas. I used to get 16-17 before the superchips.

It sounds like rough engine performance is a possibility with the chips. I guess factory settings can be reinstalled.

I ran the 91 tune and I noticed some pinging under full load in 108* weather. I ordered some Torco to up the octane to 95 and Ill give the 93 tune ashot just for fun. Ill probably settle with the 91 tune and just adjust the ping out with timing. I still gained 2-3mpg with the 91 tune. I tried the xs mileage tune and was getting 18.8mpg hwy. I'm extremely happy with what it has done performance wise, not to mention fixing my speedo and adjusting TPMS.

I have been running the Flashpaq on my 07 2D Rubicon for 1 year now. Works great in the 87 Power and Economy settings and have seen about 2 MPG economy gain.

The one issue I have had is when i reverted to factory settings the last two times it resulted in the speedometer no longer working until i reprogrammed it. Makes for lots of questions when taking in to dealer sservice.

Finally after getting my unit to recognize the Jeep, i had a chance to run it for a week on the 87 octane tune.

Definite difference in throttle response; less lag. I have felt a difference in pick up from a start through 1st and second gears. No big difference while on highway while in 6th gear. I will have to take a trip up the mountains to see if I will have to down shift on some hills that I normally had to.
I do like the options that the unit gives you. I am looking for a set of 35's; it wll come in handy to calibrate speedo.
I have not changed anything else with unit
Will check back with any mpg changes after running several tanks of fuel through it.

.....I have a 6 speed JKU Rubicon with stock swag

I've had the 97 tune for 6 months in my '07 JKU with no issues. Performance gains weren't worth the cost.

On a side note, I'm not throwing any codes with a Viper throttle body.
Airaid CAI
MBRP offroad exhaust

Did have E3 spark plugs for a few months but two went bad & caused misfires. Back to OEM Champ's.

It is in fact "locked" to your VIN...unless you remove and restore it from your JK. I, for example, ran it for about two weeks and sent it back for a refund...They were very clear about making sure that I sent it back into them reset or I would not get my money!
