The advanced trans tune is an additional feature for the Flashpaq and Vivid available for download at a cost of $40.

mine came in today. i set it up with the proper tire size for 35s (already had that with my aev procal) and with the 93 performance tune. all i can say is...

its no supercharger or hemi swap like everyone has said, but it was noticeable as soon as i backed out of the driveway and started put-putting down the road towards the freeway. i noticed that merging with traffic was a lot easier, i was able to get up to speed with a lot less effort on the on ramp. going up the first freeway overpass didnt kick me out of overdrive instantly and its very very windy today.

after my first ride im very happy with the 93 tune. this is def gonna tide me over till i am able to regear. cant wait to try out the "crawl" tune next time i go offroading.

I just got one today. I didn't have much driving to do but I installed the 87 tune and can definitely say I can tell the difference.

ill add to my review that my fuel economy has went up. that wasnt something i cared anything about as this is my weekend ride more than anything, but a trip that i would imagine that would have normally taken well over half a tank only took half a tank. my offroading mileage went up a good bit, im guessing because there was more power in the rpm range i am normally in at low speeds. i typically average (on the trip computer that everyone has noted as being wrong) around 15-16, and below 10 when im offroading. a round trip of mixed city / freeway / offroading i netted over 17.

overall im really happy with my purchase. it seems like a very good "bang for the buck" mod.

I have been interested in one of these for awhile. I am trying to squeeze out as many MPGs as I can. My JK is my daily driver. I have a few ignorant questions: 1) does this screw up the engine? 2) what are if any downside to having a programmer?. 3) I have a mostly stock jeep with a k&n CAI, is it worth it to me?

I am sure I have some other questions but I'll throw these out there! Thanks!!!

Best bang for the buck. Everybody lives it you can really notice the difference and it saves you money. It pays for itself

all i can say is i dont give two damns about fuel economy in my wrangler. i have 35s on stock rubicon gearing and with the 93 performance tune my on board fuel computer went up around 3 mpg. i would imagine those trying to squeeze some more fuel economy out of the 3.8 would be doing well to get a flashpaq.

The first priority with my Superchips is performance. That's why I bought it and fuel mileage was certainly secondary. However I do care about efficiency, and efficiency isn't exclusive of performance.

As a result of my Superchips, I find myself filling up a lot less often, likely saving me more than a half dozen trips to the gas station annually. At 50 frogskins a tankful, over the course of year you're talking about real money. Not change your life money, but money that I can spend on other things such as taking my wife to a couple nice dinners, dump in my investment accounts, buy new stuff for my vehicles or buy an extra 6-pack weekly. Not class or life altering stuff, but enough savings to care about.

Thought I would post here about superchips. The low setting in sc for t case is 2.72 and the high setting is 1 correct for a Sahara. The 2.72 controls the ratio for 4 lo only?.?
