Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions
I am running 275/70/18's on an 07 jku x. I run the flashpaq with the gas mileage tune and still getting 20 mpg on the highway, 18 around town, measured. Not digital. I have a TF leveling kit and a drop-in KN filter.
I am disappointed in the lack of MPG that I'm seeing being reported. I need to increase mine bad. Only getting high 16's on the highway. Got a new job and it is 70 miles one way. Spending a fortune in gas. Have considered buying a work car but don't know if I can make it work. Payment and fuel cost have to be cheaper than 2 tanks a gas a week and the payment plus insurance etc.
16 is pretty decent.. What are you expecting??
I have a Flashpaq and I also didn't really notice any mpg gain but I don't really keep track. I do like all the other features the flashpaq offers over a basic ProCal though.

Better than 16 MPG's with 33's, 3.71's and the rest stock, at 65 mph on relatively flat interstate. Tires are AT's. I think they are rated at 20 or 21 MPG's, would like to get close to what is advertised.
I didn't buy it for the mileage, knew that coming in, but life changes, like having to find a job 70 miles away. Trying to maximize efficiency so that I don't have to get rid of my dream Jeep.

Yeah I hear ya.. Unfortunately you never get near the advertised sticker. Over the years with several new vehicles I've started to factor in about 15-20% less of the advertised numbers. Got to remember those numbers are done under perfect conditions in the manufacturers testing facility. So basically they aren't realistic numbers for the real World. 16 is pretty decent for a lifted square box on bigger then factory wheels.

If I had to go 70 miles each way I would find an old diesel (i.e. mercedes 300, rabbit/jetta diesels, etc.) and go for a WVO conversion - that just makes a ton of sense for your commute - heck you can pick them up every once in a while for cheap - like $3-4k already converted and since it's an old car just get liability minimum insurance on it...
