Welcome to the 21st century. Almost every electronic device I've bought recently is updated via the internet. That includes obvious things like GPS units but also includes some not so obvious things like my bike computer, my camera and my digital recorder I use to record my drums.

I would get about the same before on stock wheels and tires.....but not after I added new wheels and 33" tires. I dropped to the upper 16s, low 17s. So I made up what I lost and got smoother shifting and more torque. And so far, less searching for gears.

I am having the same problem artpics is. I tried to update my just delivered Superchip tuner this past Saturday, and got the 'the calibration for your vehicle is not currently supported blah blah blah' message. So I called on Monday morning and was told it would be updated by Wednesday. I called them today, the cust serv rep said it was 'ready to go', so I plugged in, and got the same dreaded 'the cal for your vehicle, etc etc'.
I have to agree with artpics, NOT GOOD.
So I get to call them again tomorrow when the open up and do the same routine. I just don't think this should be happening.

Just got mine yesterday from Northridge. The install went smooth. Manufacturer date of 8-5-2009. Didn't notice anything right away but drove it more in the evening. Start noticing better acceleration and smoother shifting. Drove today to work and notice it alot more. Car pulls stronger and overall just feels better. The computer needs some time to re calibrate everything. Very pleased so far, I was a big skeptic but happy I spent the 300 bucks.
I will post mpg numbers in a week!!!

I decided to use a GPS with a speed display to check my speedo. My 33" tires measured at 32" exactly.....but had to input 31.50" to get the speedo and GPS synch'd to within less than a mph at 70. Just hope the Garmin Nuvi is accurate!

weird to hear people conerned about the internet updates. Seems like Superchips is constantly working on improving their product, and is willing to share the improvements with past customers as well. I like that idea.

My favorite settng is the tow setting. Very smooth and very strong low end. VERY driveable now. The other setting are very fast, but my favorite is the tow setting.

I had a Jett Stage II chip before. No internet updates, and no improvement in performance that I could notice. Coincidence? i think not.

Superchips Rocks!

I personally have no problem with internet updates, IF THEY WORK. It is has yet to upload at all. Thus far Superchips is having a lot more fun with my $310 than I am! And I have to add, the customer service reps are the most surly bunch I have ever ran across. We'll see what the have to say tomorrow.
