So at your altitude I would run as follows,

85 Octane for 87 setting and Mileage XS

91 Octane for 93 and Tow setting
Thanks JPop! Out of curiousity, what do you think the effects of running 87 octane at my altitude on the 87 setting?

If you do run 85 with the 87 tune I'd be interested to hear what differences you find.

You might run a little rich out of the gate which isn't a bad thing, but I would think the majority of that would be weeded out by the third tankful.

Mine runs fine on 87. I'm actually getting really good gas mileage. Its strange, suddenly I'm getting 18 mpg around town and 21-22 on the hwy. At sea level, I was getting 16 around town and 19-20 on the hwy. i got 24 mpg driving back from Rocky Mountain National Park last weekend. Granted there was a lot of downhill and I was mainly driving on secondary roads so the speeds were slower than normal...

Its strange, its either the altitude or my engine finally fully broke in on the trip out here. I'm at ~14,500 miles.

When I just updated my programmer, I hadn't done it since it was new, it gave me the option to adjust my TPMS. I haven't messed with it yet, but its nice to see it finally on there. I had to click through like 5 screens of disclaimers though.

I just talked to my jobber who confirmed my SC is enroute from SC....so who wants to play over/under on what stock vs the highest setting on fresh tank of 93 octane will dyno?

In theory you can argue about the dyno and the operator but to that all I can say is google David Dunbar and DPM.

Now that the dyno and operator are out of the equation I'm curious how much max hp your buttometers think this adds....is it 10hp? 15hp? 20hp?

Seeing how were in serious times this is all in fun so let the guessing begin. LOL

No guess here, but I'm looking forward to hearing your dyno results as I'm considering ordering an SC!
