I bought a pro comp stage 1 4" lift for 600and some change. But idk your comfortable budget so yeah, you could do a 2inch body lift with a 2.5 inch suspension. Lots of combos
I have a 2.5" teraflex coil lift with a 1.25" body lift, trimmed pinch seams, cut 2" off the rubi rock sliders, flat stock fenders, stock bumpstop up front 2.5" bump in rear with 37" BFG km2's on stock moab wheels with spidertrax spacers, a few xtra washers in the steering stops and no rubbing issues

I'm one of the many people that regreted starting with 33's. Took my 33's off with 70% tread left because I couldn't take it any more. Do it right the first time with 35's, much more affordable route

I had my 33s for 7,000 miles before I found someone to buy them and go with 35s. I calculated the extra cost and spent an additional 300 bucks for my stupid move... Buy nice or buy twice...

Buy the 35s and spend the money you would have spent on the 33s and get gears

If there will only be rubbing under extreme articulation scenarios and NOT under normal driving/light offroad scenarios, then I'm OK with that until I save up more and get a coil lift.
Here's my 2012 with a 2.5" teraflex coil lift, 315 70 17 duratracs with 4.5" bs wheels. I'd probably rip off a fender if I tried to wheel this thing the way is currently is. You will be at least an inch lower.

First get your EVO bolt-on coil-over lift kit. Then your wife, buddies, friends, etc will all tell you your ride looks stupid and you really have to get 35's or 37's. If you get a puck lift or body lift and make the 35's work, your not going to get support for buying the lift.
