One of the forum members, azsandrider, was kind enough to bring over his 2-door Jk for me to check it out. Thanks for that!

I am bummed to have to mention this, but the system will not work on a 2-door. All of our fitting was on a 4-door. We are however, going to work on a set of brackets to adapt this to a 2-door. Not sure on time frame, but is on our list of things to do.

To all those that pre-ordered, I will be calling you tomorrow with shipment details.

Thanks again guys and more to still come as far as photos, etc.

Do you have instructions in where and how to locate the filters ?

Also, just to be clear: is you are crossing waters and everything is submerged for few minutes, providing that the system is not operating, we should be fine?

Thanks

I went by On-Board Air's place to check how the air tank & compressor fit and as he stated above, it will not fit on the two door. BUT, he checked his measurements with all my modifications (3" Teraflex long arm and complete Rock Hard skid plates) and his system will work with all the mods IF I had a 4 door....

I will say he was very nice and the system he has designed is well made with good parts, it just won't fit on my 2 door.

There is room at the rear of my 2 door where the muffler is, but I would have to relocate the muffler and have brackets made for the air system.

For 2 door owners, it looks like a Warn Powerplant on the front, or the ADA system under the hood (very narrow clearance), re-locating the muffler for this system, packing a portable compressor or air tank inside which takes up space, or hanging the air tank or compressor on the rear rack/tire carrier.

I like a stream lined look so the rear rack/tire carrier with a tank or compressor doesn't appeal to me. I don't like the clearance of the under hood ADA compressor and I don't want to take up extra room inside as I often camp as I need the room for other stuff. So I'm probably going to get the Powerplant and synthetic cable to lessen the weight.

I wish On-Board Air's system would have fit my two door as that would be the way to go....

Yes, we will suggest a spot to put the filters, and will be included in the instructions. Yes, you will be Ok temporarily submerging the system, as long as they are not turned on.

It was good meeting you the other day and coming by with you Jeep. The wheels are already turning to work on a 2-door system or making this system work with adapter brackets as mentioned.

Here are some photos of the assembled system, as it would be before bolting it up to the Jeep.

I'm still going to try to figure out how fit this on my two door. Going to consider relocating the canister and putting the system there.
