Didn't they say under 4 Hundo? that would put it in direct competition with AEV.

Prolly a better question for the rugged ridge guys, but if you want to maintain the sleek look of the jeep when you're not on the trail/pretending your jeep is a submarine, is there any reason not to take off the intake extensions and just leave the cowl connect exposed? I know there's the low prefilter, but even that is too much of an eyesore when not on the trail for me.

From the pics I've seen of it installed on the RR jeeps, windshield lights are a no go :(

Very awesome! of course price will matter. Much over 400 and I cant see people choosing this over others. However as a 2012 owner, I believe this is currently the only option.

I'm interested in this snorkel. I've never liked the AEV design that runs along the exterior of the jeep. I don't mind a little cutting. I've already used a drill, grinder, sawzall, and cutting wheel on my 2012, so a little more cutting/drilling is not an issue. The only question I have is about air flow. Does adding a snorkel reduce air flow to the engine? I know a CAI increases airflow, but will the added ductwork for a snorkel cause the engine to work harder to suck in air?
