Like RR stated earlier, "what you draw on paper and what actually works on the vehicle are two different things". I think it'll be a good product when finished. I'll definatly buy it.

Yeah, but I think that's good we want to keep the water out so smaller is better. The opening is still plenty big for the airflow required.

I'm still giving the same time line but would say that an early summer is looking more likely (Sorry)... but to help you along and to let you know there is movement here is another picture. This is the base for the low intake and the taller mount intake. This shape is not set in stone and is being revised but does help to visualize a little more.... Hope you like!

Looks badass guys!!! Keep up the good work. And whenever you get the chance, go ahead and link me to a pre-order page so I can go ahead and be first on the list to receive it =)

As long as the opening is equal to or greater than what the factory was offering you will be OK... Remember that this intake is also over 4' away from the filter. As long as you air inlets exceed the volume capacity of your filter than you are on the winning side of things.

Yea I was sitting around at work today and thought of that... As long as it comes out looking similar to the sketch its on my short list.

How cool would this look with the Smittybuilt fenders and corners. I know RR they are competitors but you guys don't make anything like that.

Any pics of the actual lower intake with the base system yet? We haven't had any updates since last year!

Still working out designs... Lots of drawings on my desk. Did make the working prototype for the lower engine compartment intake over the weekend..

Things are coming together nicely... Looks like engine heat will not be a problem.
