I'm thinking that the kids might want to sleep in the annex eventually, but when they are small the could fit in the same tent.

Or should I get a bigger tent?
I would ask this question on Expo. I think you'll find a wider audience there that will have experience with this.

Look into CVT as others have recommended. We have a 2yr old and the Mt Hood gives is plenty of room.

Proof right there that the jk doesn't have to be lifted to the sky and slapped with way oversized tires to be extremely capable.

First off, I love what you guys are doing on this thread. It got me thinking… I have this trailer and I was considering converting it into a tent cargo expo trailer. I'd like to be able to switch it back to haul stuff when needed.

I know it's larger than the trailers I've seen on here but I'm sure it will be under the max tow weight. Any suggestions or words of advice? I need to tap into the years of experience on here. Thanks!

In my opinion, that trailer is too long to be a good expedition one. The distance between the tongue and tire would make for difficult manoeuvers off-road and create clearance problems going over obstacles.
