Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Play music, highway navigation, off-highway navigation and topo mapping, and monitoring the CAN bus ...

I also use it to carry copies of useful documents, including permits, reservations, the Jeep JK owners manual and torque charts, etc. When preparing for a trip I put a folder for the trip on my desktop. As we do the research (maps, contact names and phone numbers, etc), and as various documents get prepared (flight reservations, if someone is flying in to ride with me; hotel reservations, if needed, etc), I drop those files into that folder. Then, just before the trip when downloading the topo maps for the route, I also copy that folder over to the Nexus 7 I use. I've saved the documents as either .jpg's or .pdf's, so the N7 can view them natively.
Some have successfully used them for running GoPros, but my experiences with that and three different GoPros (two different models) and several different tablets and phones (iOS and Android) has been a mix of frustration and outright failure.

My JK had the factory 730N Nav, but I wasnt too stoked on it. I was thinking of getting a Lowrance for off road use, but if there are programs for the N7 that are as good that would be cool, as the N7 could offer more uses. Im guessing the N7 GPS will still work without data connection? Also what app is that for monitoring the Jeep?
Oh nice. So Im guessing you guys have a data plan on them or tether to your phone?
