List your Jeep related pet peeves/rants here.....
I feel you, I can't keep it clean for longer then 48 hours after I clean it. that is unless it rains and I can't keep the mud on. I always tend to find the coolest looking mud holes on the side of the road I have to hit, but it pisses me off b/c its always only on the passenger side never the driver said
my one pet peeve is that my tires (35'S) stick out of the fenders about an inch so every time i get dont washing and detailing the jeep and i drive about a block theres dirt and shit all over the side again
and i know u guys are gonna say its a jeep let it get dirty, but for me its either gotta be clean as a whistle or muddy as....well just f*ckin muddy

Mirrors and door straps. I dented my cowl first day after waiting 3 months to take delivery. Mirrors on the windshiled to start or a bump stop on the cowl would be nice. Ah, I probably would have still mucked it up.
No room under the hood. Wasted an hour just locating a 'safe' spot to mount a powerhorn and still had to grind the plastic to fit.
RSA? encryption on the 2011. Thorn in the side of progress.
With the seat height adjuster up I cannot see most traffic lights if I'm stopped and first in line. I must be the perfect height. Lucky me. "Do you know why I pulled you over?"
The rollbar is not fully painted under the pads and that is ......just sad.

Not my jeep but other peoples lack of common sense. With 4" lift and 35's people on my ass and i can barely see the tip of their trunk. I really need to get rid of the stock plastic as soon as i can afford it.
Mirrors get in the way while trying to watch for rocks. (illegal to drive without doors here)
Doors don't stay open when on a slight slant.
Rear door opens the wrong way. The hinges should be on the other side, or even better, swing out tire carrier and fold down door.
Shitty plastic bumpers. WTF?
Should have come stock with 35's and a lift.
Hard Top. (wife made me get one).
The scratch on my hood. I see it everytime I get in or drive somewhere.
Crossmember/transmission mount. WTF was jeep thinking placing the tranny mount on top of a crossmember that also works as a skidplate. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the two separated?
Other than those things my jeep is awesome!

People messing with my jeep while I'm at work. Some dude even had the stones to pull up my duster cover, look in, and put it back. He came in my store after. I said "that jeep out there is pretty cool isn't it"? He was like "oh yea that guy has a nice sound system in there too. Nothin is bolted down". I told him "yea it was expensive and if you touch my fucking jeep again I'll cut that hand off and beat you to death with it". Safe to say he shit his pants.

Heres my story/rant about our jk's and don't get me wrong i think jeep did an amazing job on the 2011's interior but now it seems the newer and more fancy the jk's become the more uneducated the owners are of the friendly jeep culture but anyways the other day i was eating lunch outside a restaurant checking out how good my jeep looked
and the all of the sudden another cosmos blue jeep pulls into the parking lot (i get very excited whenever i see another cosmos blue jeep because i never see them around here) and this ones a top of the line rubicon
. The parking lot i was in was pretty small and empty soo i was hoping that the guy would go park next to mine but no.... he parks on the other side and just sits in his jeep and as i'm leaving the lot i pull up next to him to maybe make new friends and here's our short conversation:
Me: Heyy i like your jeep its kinda like mine (In a friendly/ Humorous tone since they basically were the same except for the rubicon part)
Him: Ya it's nice.....
Me: I bet having the Rubicon's pretty awesome have you taken it on any trails?
Him: Ya i bought the rubicon because i wanted leather and the interior is alot nicer then the lower models like yours(Dick move). And noo i'm not interested in that kind of stuff.....
Me:
Umm okk well ill see you around.
Him:(No response just kind of a smirk)
I thought i would share that because i wasn't very happy after that

can not illuminate gauge cluster without turning parking lights or headlights on.....
Cant keep doors open when trying to load something heavy or that takes 2 hands.
cant see the stop lights if first in line as another person stated.
Seat doesn't go down very far, feel like my heads popping out of the roof.
730n wont auto adjust to light outside (night or day) just stays blinding bright.

And one more thing (I'm on a roll now!), what's with the folks here who think there should be only one type of Jeep owner? The Jeep is a versatile vehicle. Whether you want to climb rocks or head to the golf course topless and doorless who cares. Enjoy the Jeep for your needs and let the others enjoy it for theirs. There is plenty of room for all sorts of enthusiasts and fans. The world is a more interesting place when we aren't all the same.
