Donaldson pre cleaner on my Safari snorkel. Is the ten inch version to better match air flow at higher revs. Great for spinning out dirt,dust, twigs, snow, insects etc

i wanted a snorkel for quite some time now but i have a mopar cold air intake. I'm scared that if i install a snorkel i will loose HP when all im trying to do is gain HP. any tips?

With the traditional ram air snorkel top you will probably gain horsepower at speed due to the ram effect. At slow speed the cooler air should still be better than anything from near the engine/radiator. I thought I would lose power with the pre filter but has not made any difference. I think the air hits the windscreen and gets deflected up into the filter. Also the intake makes a cool noise with the window down when you floor it (mine is RHD so a lot closer to where I sit )
