On a recent road trip to Nevada I tired the XS mode going down and the 87 routine on the way back. My mileage was about the same but the pep was better heading back. I've found even in the mileage XS mode the stock program had better mileage at the expense of crappy shift points on my automatic. Ive stuck with 87 tune mode and am very happy. I'm still running stock MT's with only an exhaust mod & Iriduim plugs

Yes, DRIVEABILITY!

In a word, that sums the Superchip Flashpaq up.

I'm still running the 6-speed on the stock 4.10 gears, and, thanks to the Flashpaq, lovin' it!

I agree. It only took us ~1100 posts to summarize the thread the JPop started!

BTW, that's a very sharp set of tires and wheels.

Yep, I'm always envious of those wheels as well.

Also, I did try to do a summary of the first 1,000 posts and it just ended up a jumbled mess trying to get it down to 500 words or less. Just too much detail on a variety of related topics, concerns, remedies and praise of the performance delivered. Ended up with over 170 pages and more than 70,000 words. That's larger than the healthcare bill that left the house with a lot more thought having gone into it.

We came out there to see what people thought about the "real world" usage. I gave out my cell number so guys on the forum could contact me and swing by for us to demo the product.

Mike's feedback was important to us and it was taken down when he knocked on our RV and returned the product. Our intentions at the event were to get the product in people's hands and let them give it a go at the event. Our goal was not to sell sell sell. This was a brand building exercise. Mike, I apologize if you for any reason felt we did not care - we did and we do. Your feedback is very important to us and will be discussed further. I appreciate you coming over to let us tune your Jeep. We don’t get that kind of real-time feedback unless we are at events like this. We enjoyed getting a chance to let you try it and see what you think. Lots of people came by and talked with us about their experience and we got great feedback (including Mike's) from the event.

Lots of guys returned the product after they used it and said they enjoyed it. We are well aware that many dealers sell the programmers for less than we were at the event - and we encourage people to buy from our dealers as we, the factory, do not want to compete with them on pricing.

I can tell you that we do make an effort to listen to our customers - if we don’t then we can't move in a direction that meets expectations. If anyone has any comments, questions, or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. I want to thank Mike and everyone else that came by to see us whether you did a demo run with product or not. It was nice meeting with the people out there.

Also, if anyone has a Flashpaq programmer - PM me your serial number and shipping address and I'll get out a cap, decal, and koozie.

Thanks.
Big thanks to superchips, i received mine today

I do hope they lower the lockup time for the convertor on the 4th gear to 3rd gear downshift. The way it is set now, the TC slips quite a bit. Needs a firmer shift!

Just got my Flaspack installed a few days ago. So far I like it.
The install went without a hitch, and I have gone through about 1/2 tank on the 87 setting.

Power is alittle better, the e-throttle is a little better, and I will soon kill my TPMS when my new tires and wheels arrive.
The throttle is a bit touchy in 1st, cant describe it really. It feels like 1st is lower kinda, when I let off the throttle slightly there is more engine braking. Does not bother me though.

Cant reccomend Dave at Northridge4x4 highly enough. I had a question about my order and sent him an e-mail through the forum. Took about 5 minutes and he called me! After my horrible experience with offroad unlimited it was refreshing.

Anyone use a Mac to update thier SC? i'm a non-PC person. or will it work with VM/Parallells? i know, it's a non jeep/engine/peformance question, but it's a very big factor before i buy one.
