The jeep on average, is probably driven 30% highway and the rest normal city driving. Stay tuned for more updates.
Second tank empty, another 279 miles to the gas light! Woohoo!

I have a question about the Superchips Flashpaq downloads from the website. Everytime you do a update to the programmer does the company tweak certain things to peak the performance compared to the last update? I mean what does staying with current downloads/updates do? This may have been asked before in the 150+ pages, that's alot to read..
Thanks, fwbb

With every update there are changes. Some may not apply to your specific vehicle and others may. Personally I don't get enslaved by doing each update, although I will check things out when I hear someone that has a compelling story about a change they experienced.

update...for JPOP...

I took your advise and switched to 91 octane tune....what a differance !!

Went from 17.1 mpgs on the 87 tune, to 20.1 on the 91 tune so far for 200 miles freeway yesterday. Better shifting and performance as well.

Thanks

How are you guys getting this kind of mileage? I'm running the 93 tune and only getting about 16mpg on the hwy and less around town. I will say the performance is spectacular on the 93 tune, it holds highway speeds much better and accelerates smoothly - much more like my wife's Pilot now.

Side note, I was getting slightly better mileage before the last dealership recall flash for the transmission light. My tech guy says all they have been told is it updates the point when the tranny light comes on but he says sometimes they sneak other things in. Anyone else notice a MPG drop with the tranny flash? (I put my programming back to stock for the flash and then put on the 93 tune afterward).

I drive like a grandma.....and drive the speed limit all the time. Pretty easy on the skinny pedal all the time too. Need to keep the license for work.
