i always come back to the 87 tune. you'll have to play around with your tire setting to get the speedo right. measure actual tire size as best as possible and then tweak as needed. i ran the crawl tune while wheeling a couple weeks ago and i highly recommend. very smooth crawling for my set-up, much more so than with the 87 tune.

interested on your perspective on the lurchiness. it's clearly more responsive than stock, but it's never bothered me nor does it seem an item for concern.

as mentioned, use 2nd gear when rolling slow. Works for me.

Default Programmed it last week

I went skiing over the weekend and what a difference in the hills and on the highway. There is a little more power I guess, but its like having a whole new transmission. Shifts were sooooo much better.

anyone know if I can run the program on the flashpaq without plugging it into a pc?

I am tired of my lag and want a little more power.

i didn't know there was a difference in the tune itself, but i'll have to check again. i believe they are the same tune, with the difference being the quick tune option is to tune only, whereas the other option let's you go through the other things - tire and gear settings, etc.

there is some info buried deep in the bowels of this thread. someone with a mac will probably post up, but if you need immediate assistance you can probably search through here. or you might try contacting superchips directly to see if they have guidance.

Right now im at stock settings because the lurchy throttle issue was driving me nuts, job takes me all over the city and sometimes I find myself in bumper to bumper traffic at quitting time, thats when it got so bad I set it back to stock. I had no issues with the pinging but Goody did while using the 87 tune and he remedied that by using 89 octane fuel with the 87 tune, so yeah basically just me being cautious.

Will let you know. My 'shutter' is also gone when changing to relatively high gears at low speeds.
The shutter/gettingrearendedsimulator was even bad when I used 2nd gear instead of first and im 100% certain the tune installed properly and the programmer had the most recent updates. I think I might update, reinstall the tune and fill up with 89 once this tank runs out. Hopefully they find a fix to make the throttle issue go away tho.
