for my spring/summer use, do u bychance have the tstat # handy?? i am assuming its a standard for a 3.8??besides a 180 temp..
The one I had in my ram was a jet but.like u said a stant is the same and a third the price. Ill bet all 3.8 take the same one for many years.

My 08 has 32/1050's, a 6-speed, and extra weight from winch, packed rear cargo space, bumpers, etc.
It's also my DD.
I adjusted for tire size, moderate throttle response and mileage.
Just the middle throttle response makes a big difference when I need it (no lag), but it's a Jeep, not a Mustang.
(PS I live well east of the Appalachians)

I thought of putting it on the tow tune for better lower end performance.
Most prefer the Tow Tune or the 91 octane setting. Note that the tow tune requires 91 or better octane. That's really all you need to worry about until you have some miles under your belt.

As for the Transmission stuff, you really need to start off with the Superchips settings and then bump from there. They have a couple additional presets, find one that's closer to your liking then if necessary make manual adjustments.

Thanks, i have it set on the 93 tune right now and no pinging so far. I may drop down to the 91 tune or mess with it more. Plus i got this thing for two main reasons. to change tire size and disable the TPMS. I only have the TPMS adjust. Where can i get the TPMS Offroad program to shut the TPMS sensors off? I looked but i can't find anything. I downloaded the easy updater last night and updated the programmer but i couldn't find anywhere where i had to sign a waver or what.

Love it. 4.88s, 32s, 6m trans. It actually feels quick now, gears did about 80% IMO, tune polished it up nicely. NO complaints, shoulda been delivered this way. Can't tell its a drive by wire now. Perfect.
Update for mine, I need to run 89 "winter blend" fuel with my JK on 87 tune or the detonation is heavy. Otherwise, still loving the throttle response. Just over 17 MPG too. No complaints!

You have to get on superchips website and download the ez updater program, but you must vin lock your programer to your jeep. Go program your jeep for a tune. The initial setup for me when i first uploaded a program it went through a bunch of dings and bells and whistles, then i programmed for the 91 tune. Went in and set up the ez updater program i downloaded off superchips website. Hooked up the programmer to the computer and it did an update. It took a few times of logging in and hooking up the programmer to the computer for the upgrades to show up. But at the bottom of the program there will be an upgrade. You can select what you want and put it in your cart. Select the TPMS offroad upgrade and download it in your programmer, go back out to the jeep and you'll have to go to advanced options and it should be in the programmer as TPMS Offroad which turns the TPMS sensors completely off. Hope that helps. I was a little confused with it at first but its pretty easy once you figure it out.
