What would you like in a snorkel design?
what would the opening look like if you went with concept earlier on in the thread? i get crazy amounts of snow here and im worried about the snorkle getting packed with it. i have a pic of my drive home one night but i cant figure out how to upload it.
In my opinion the River Raider looks great... it's made from metal, it follows the A-pillar to the top, and it's not very long across the body! IMO the AEV snorkel is just about as ugly as chrome 22's on the JK. If you're kit was similar in appearance to the River Raider, was compatible with dual batts, could route concealed breathers, and mounted on the side instead of the hood... I'd be all over it!!!
What he said...exactly. Please don't make it out of plastic.
I'm not entirely familiar with snorkels but how's about making a snorkel/ ram air intake via removable piece underhood ex: get the look of a snorkel onroad and then when the time comes apply section connector underhood and boom entirely functional snorkel
How about one that goes through the firewall into the cab. I sow one for a lander rover D90 that was that way. It was very cool. It had a pre air filter that could be changed from in the cab above the feet.

I always wondered about that issue and the design Jeep came up with for the wipers. Looks like a spot that would catch a lot of snow, melt and then freeze....

Got a suggestion regarding the snow? Lets hear it..
