You can buy Offroad version teardrops , they made Offroad versions and onroad

I don't know if any one has seen these trailers, but this is the coolest off road trailers I've ever seen! It's a bit much for my kind of camping, but for the person who wants to take EVERYTHING, I think this fits the bill.

I love this thread. I hope am working on practical expedition mods. I'm not in to the rock crawling/ destroying your Jeep thing. More of an off-road exploration vehicle.

I took the Little Guy to my welding/ fabrication master buddy. The plan is to drop the axle about 2 inches, flush against the lower skid plate. That should allow me to go from the stock 29s to 33s. Working on setting up the battery power, generator and hooking up the brakes. Slow progress but some.

After seeing the photo in post 2358, I'm not sure that I posted a new pic. This is my new off road version of the Little Guy. I picked it up at the end of last season.

Sweet. My wife likes the retro look of our silver shadow (she drives a Mini convertible so it matches the look), so no off-road modifications on ours :-(
