Well I did as instructed and now I have no front driver's side blinker! I spliced the black side marker wire with the outer most white/green striped wire from the blinker and it just stays solid. I wired it back as original and now the front blinker remains solid and the rear is blinking fast. I swapped the front bulbs out and they check out ok. So what did I screw up...? One catch, my side marker is a LED with two wires (yellow and white) coming out of it. It works fine just doesn't blink.

I wonder if they make better bulbs that aren't led.
The rear blinks fast because it's telling you that you have a bulb out. The front and rear bulbs are double filament so maybe you burned out one of the filaments in the blinker OR you have a bad connection.

Thanks for the reply. I kinda thought that may be the reason (being an LED light and all). I checked the bulb and it works fine (swapped it out with the passenger side one). So now the driver's side lights are screwed up and the passenger side works fine. So I am guessing once you mess with the wires it won't go back to the original. I'm puzzled.

I have no idea. Make sure your connection is good and there are no exposed wires that will cause a short.

Thanks again. Everything is "buttoned up" solid so I don't know. I am going to hook the original marker lights up and see if this corrects it. Word to the wise, if you replace your marker lamps with a LED, the blinker mod won't work (and it appears to screw up the front blinker in the process). If someone knows why this is or how to correct the problem, please chime in. Thx.

Hmmm. Well I tried connecting my LED wires to just about every wire with no success. I'm guessing you connected the LED to the same wires mentioned previously. I figured mine would work because the relay would control the flashing part, not the light itself. If you don't mind me asking, what light are you using...?
