ok heres a pick of how the wires should be it just took me about 15 mins and that included getting the tools out.

cut the black wire (from the side marker) about 1.5 inches from the plug that is behind the grill (not on the fender)

then get the scotch lock and connect the black wire to the front grill turn signal light the white wire furthest from the black [three wires - black, white w/stripe, and white w/stripe(connect to this one)]

Hey guys...

I did this mod....

Then two days later I got a check engine light and my fuel gage dropping to zero and then back to full while driving.

I ran the diagnostic, got this error code:

P0463 - Fuel Level Sensor 1 Circuit High

Could this be related to the side marker mod? I performed the mod and it works perfectly, but now I have this. Could I have screwed with the computer or something electrical by moving the sidemarker's ground somehow?!?!?

X2 on the Euro marker lights! Although, then it wouldn't be an (almost) free mod. Have to go google it now...

Quick search - no luck.
If anyone finds any info, please post. Thanks.

You have what the US guys want, a blinker flasher. They want what you already have Scot! Our fender lights are just marker lights. Some want the flash as well. You are good to go.

Default Check the bulb

If the lights are on and dont blink but your dash light blinks faster.

Just a thought but check your bulb if one of the bulbs are blown

since they are one unit know it might cancel them out.
