Two days and I must say the power is very smooth now , especially the shifting !!! Holds 2nd much longer under a lead foot, overall drivability is like night and day IMO, and I've only been trying the 87 tune, mileage cant be confirmed yet cause I've been putting hammer down!! Anyone says its a waste of $$ i would return it and get another cause u got a dud!!!

Question: while I was uploading the 87 tune, the "hot oil" message started ringing, I let the tuner finish , is that typical?

Yes it has happened to me before when initially installing a tune. It's nothing to worry about

Same thing happens to me when I install a tuning. I thought it was weird the first time it happened but jeep has been running great so I just assume it's normal.

As a result of my Superchips, I find myself filling up a lot less often, likely saving me more than a half dozen trips to the gas station annually. At 50 frogskins a tankful, over the course of year you're talking about real money. Not change your life money, but money that I can spend on other things such as taking my wife to a couple nice dinners, dump in my investment accounts, buy new stuff for my vehicles or buy an extra 6-pack weekly. Not class or life altering stuff, but enough savings to care about.
Does the superchips modify shift points for autos with larger than stock tires? Or is it part of the "tunes"? I just picked up the trail dash and wanted to make sure before I "crack" the seal.
Thank you

you manually tell it what size tires you are running and it modifies shift points from there.

Hey guys, I have a Flashpaq from my 08 JK but just traded the 08 in for a 12. Do you think I should hold out for when Superchips cracks the 2012 code or should I just buy a new module, all I really need is to adjust my speedo. I just hate to give up on my Flashpaq that I bought not too long ago. Do you think my 08 Flashpaq will even work with the 2012 JK once they get the code working?

More than likely the '11 and '12 models will be an entirely new unit
