I installed my flashpaq and am very happy with the results! Definately notice enough gain in overall driveability and performance to make me regret not buying one sooner. Owning a manual, I was concerned the benefits were only aimed at autos, not so! If you have realistic expectations, the gain in low-mid torque is a very noticeable welcomed change to the weak 3.8.

I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents... might help someone...

I have a 2010 JKU automatic with 3.73 gears and 35's. It did alright until I started adding other weight (bumper, winch etc.)

Bought a super chips flashpaq, flashed the 87 tune.... and it drives like new... I was thinking about rehearing before this and I am in no rush now. It's great!

I have a similar set up but manual on the 87 tune I can feel the strain through the clutch but on 93 tune with 35s Its faster than stock

Yep I second. Same thing happened to me when I loaded 87 octane program. Runs great and finally I feel like I'm driving a vehicle again! I just can't help it but to gun it every green light. Pedal feels so much more responsive. One thing though... I saw the sprint booster, Basically an ETC signal booster. I was planning on getting that in conjunction but now I feel there is no need. The flashpaq is awesome.

I really don't know what you or others are talking about, because I don't think I noticed anything after the 87 tune. Maybe my brain tells me it must have made an improvement, but I really can't tell. This was with stock tires. After I put 35's, I haven't put back the stock tune to compare, but then if I did, I believe that would mess up the shift points since I'd have to run stock tire size when I'm really running a larger tire. Perhaps, the new transmission shifting points is what everyone is so impressed with, but it has nothing to do with the 87 tune itself. I could be wrong, but those are my impressions.

My first mod was a flashpaq and I did notice a difference on 87 tune with everything stock! After I added bumpers and tire carrier I notice a little more drag! Im afraid when I add 35s it going to be noticeable how much the flashpaq might not work! Idk! Too soon to tell but I do know that the flashpaq is not the answer for bigger tires, gears are. I just like that fact I can play with the shift point, etc and its a diagnostic tool also. I guess we shall wait and see how it performs. By the way my mpgs went up a tad and has not fallen since I added orfab bumpers!

What exactly did you notice? I think they say it adds 10 extra hp or so on 87 tune. Can you really notice that? And I'm sure those extra hp come in the higher rpm range that you only hit when you need to get up to speed fast, like merging onto a highway. But for normal cruising, I can't understand how someone can see a difference.

35's aren't that bad as some say. I turn off overdrive, drive 60mph, and I'm at 2200 rpm, which is about the same it would be with 5.13. So I'm not sure what's the point to regear if rpm are the same. Around city it's OK too. Certainly you can feel the larger tires, but you can definitely still drive them.

I guess you can say.I noticed more pep on the gas. Defiantly noticeable at first but I think I'm used to it by now. Thanks for the insight on 35s by the way, I'm still battling the decision
